The Benefit Gala theme for 2017 is “The Magic of Changing Lives”.
Mountain States Children’s Home is about creating opportunity for children to change their lives by envisioning, understanding and walking a different path. These paths become a journey of discovery that seems amazing and magic at times. There are glimmers of hope along the way with flashes of confidence as self-esteem is revealed. Behaviors become real transformations that bring about the true possibilities within each child to a brighter future.
This magic wand is waved by volunteers, donors, house parents and staff in a way that truly makes a difference. The change is not an illusion – it is a reality that is brought on by a glow from many hearts that affects each child.
